Isn’t it more about location than age? It seems like asian women always prefer prettyboys while girls in europe prefer masc guys regardless if she’s 13 or 20 or 30+

4 flavors of compact midface mogger
horse face doesn't mean your mid-face isn't compact, it means it's proportionally too long compared to your lower and upper third.

That’s a flawed definition of horseface. Horseface means a midface that’s long in general, measured by FWHR and midface ratio.
  • A short chin that makes the lower third too short compared to the midface doesn’t make the face a horseface; it makes the man a chinlet.
  • A short forehead caused by a low hairline doesn’t make the face a horseface; it makes the man a negative Norwood hair mogger.

Your definition of horseface means that women’s faces are more horse-ish than men’s faces on average because women’s vertical thirds are split evenly and men’s vertical thirds are split 30-30-40 (lower third is taller than the other 2). To say that women’s faces are more horse-ish than mens’s faces are is ridiculous; hence your definition of horseface is incorrect.

Furthermore, your definition of horseface makes it possible for a face to become more horse-ish by making any third except the middle third shorter. Makes no sense for a face to be considered more horse-ish if it’s shorter overall.

this is mostly cope, by lowering his hairline you threw off his perceived ratios, his mid face is now his longest third.

this is correct though, men are very rarely horse-faced, long mid faces don't look off in men because their skull length to width allows for it in most cases.

almost ALL cases of 'horse face' are women, in media.

perceived ratios are more important than actual ratios, you can turn anyone into a horse by making their forehead and jaw shorter.

I disagree completely. I believe that you can make anyone look disproportionate by making their forehead and jaw too short, but I don’t consider that to make it a horseface.

is Hexum’s middle third his longest third?

what software do you measure ratios in?
it is, but it's not disproportional, gandy is also mid-face dominant, both have wide foreheads even though they're not big, having no forehead is not a 'mogger' trait.

use your eyes.

Ratios matter because eyes are biased. To me, the morphs look good and don’t look horsemaxed at all.

^ This looks good to my eyes.

what software did you do the boxes in?
ms paint, note that the definition of horse face doesn't have anything to do with the compaction of the mid-face, it means ''a long face, with prominent jaws and chin, and with a mouth full of big teeth.''

celine dion is a classical example of horse face in media, but her actual mid-face isn't actually particularly elongated, she just has bad head width to length.

Your example of Celine Dion shows that horseface is about the length of the face overall and not about the middle third’s proportional height relative to the other 2 thirds.

both are true because the ratios of your thirds determine how elongated your face looks, it is both the total length of the skull and the balance between the thirds that can make your face look elongated, even if it isn't.

those also aren't the only factors, here's another one.

hillary duff is also considered horse-faced even though her mid-face is actually compact and short.

why?

because her teeth are huge compared to her face, another part of the definition.

She isn’t horsefaced. Rope, coper.

I wasn't the one that came up with it, I just went through media references and these had the most hits.
