Manager didn't answer whether training was paid

Starting new job and they want me to do a week induction/training

Job wants me to come in for a week long training but haven't got my payment details yet

Thread title My relief security officer job wants me to come in next week for 8 hours a day for "training and induction", but they haven't even got my payment details yet. How tf am I meant to get paid then? They better not try and make me do unpaid slave labour

Obviously it should be paid. But they didn't ask for my details. So I texted the manager asking if it was paid, but he didn't respond, despite responding to my other earlier message. He definitely will have seen the message. So, either it's not paid, or he is just ignoring a stupid question. But come on man, is it that hard to answer? I want to give my payment details before I turn up

Technically I don't think I'm officially employed yet, cos I was supposed to receive a vetting link to complete before we could move forward. But I haven't got that yet. So I don't know how I'm meant to be turning up next week when the email said I have to complete some form I haven't got yet first
