I’m 15 years old. I go to the gym and try to eat healthy. Right now I’m a bit bulky, and I think I have around 17–18% body fat. I noticed that my mandible looks a little recessed, but the rest of my face looks fine. I’m not sure if it’s because of body fat, but I think my mandible is recessed. Is this normal? Should I just not worry and keep living my life normally? Will my mandible grow forward more as I get older?

happens recession of the bite. If you don't experience pain or any other nonsense, then you're most likely healthy. If you've ever been to an orthodontist, they would definitely say that you have a bad bite. If you want a more pronounced jaw but you have a normal bite, then only Hardmax.

Bone-lengthening Method using Two Types ...
chew harder food and chew with your premolars

My orthodontist said it's so minimally recessed that nothing can be done about it with braces
because braces dont cause mandibular forward growth....is your ortho stupid

He means that he can't do anything about it.

i mean while your braces are in yeah i doubt you could get a herbst but after theyre out there is 0 reason for a herbst not to work. is it possible he doesnt know what it is?

Last Monday, I went to see him and explained that it bothers me that my chin is set back. He told me that there’s nothing he can do about it right now, and that my chin will grow naturally and should move a little forward as I get older. He also said that if I want it to look different sooner, the only options are to grow a beard or have surgery

find a different ortho.

Do you really think he won’t say anything else? I’ve had braces before, but never anything like a palate expander
trust me visit a different ortho, yours is retarded.
