Mandibular advancement and it's affect on soft tissue.

One of the things my surgeon checked for when determining my eligibility for a mandibular advancement was the soft tissue between my lower lip and chin. Presumably this was because he expects the area to tighten up and be tugged/stretched firm by the increase in mandibular plane. Does it make sense then that the cheeks and skin and other soft tissues in one's face will also be pulled taut(er) and firm as the mandible moves forward? I'm hoping for at least some cheek hollowing or masseter revealing effect as a part of my BSSO.

At minimum, it should give some illusion of leanness and visibility of hard lines in the jaw, no?
