Title kinda explains it. I have tmj, which is for me is a golden ticket to getting insurance to somewhat cover surgery. One of these pictures, don’t know how they’ll turn out for you so i can’t say left or right is my normal face, the other when i am jutting. debating between the two to push my doctor for when i get an appointment. i know chin augmentation is impossible to get covered but if itll work it seems easier to recover from ill do it. any advice on which surgery? doesn’t have to be the ones in the post. Even considered fillers but don’t know which ones.

Do you have an overbite?

Do you have an overbite?
technically, not all that much. my teeth don’t touch at rest though. sometimes the tension in my jaw from the tmj causes me to grind and clench my jaw. but naturally it’s a small open bite little overbite

so u have a class 2?

i’m not sure, i don’t know that scale. sorry. it’s mild to say the least.
Well, class 2 is a type of malocclusion.

You mentolabial fold looks too deep so look into fixing that, it's why your chin looks weird.

Idk abt you but I’m NOT going through that type of excruciating surgery for those tiny results

If you're looking towards it aesthetically, your maxilla doesn't seem to be recessed and idk if your mandible is recessed which is why I asked about your malocclusion but it's probably not much so I don't think you'd need a major surgery

Can I see your front?

Deep mentolabial is usually from SFS, but I'm not sure yet whether you have sfs can we see your front?

I just think you need bsso and also leanmax

reta may be in my future. was considering that or winstrol. i’m not sure if bsso would be covered by insurance
i have been taking the insurance pill the last few days and the reality is that if you rely off insurance they wont approve much and youll get a very small functional change that might not even improve you cosmetically. Look into good surgeons here overseas, atleast this is my opinion based off my research the past few days I am currently planning a bimax to fix my underbite.

Unfortunately you are realistically right. although i am a poor college kid who can’t afford even the surgery’s that cost low thousands and can’t miss class for it. if the school saw me going over seas for surgery they probably won’t excuse it.

You don't need any jaw surgery, as of now for aesthetics

And I'm not sure whether you have sfs but we can see the deep labiomental even from the front

If you have an appointment, just ask for the doctor to confirm with xrays whether you have short face syndrome or not.

That's it, stop thinking and speaking about major jaw surgeries for now

I deeply appreciate your reply’s. I’m looking into it and i think you may be right. It seems like jaw surgery is the only fix though?

Depends, there are other ways to mask it for aesthetic reasons but we will see once you inform me again

I'm not sure though, but still curious if you have it :feelsgiga:.
