It's not over. You can use hair and facial hair to improve (some) failos. It won't turn you from a truecel to a gigachad but it's at least a softmax you can realistically do and actually works as well as not taking much time or effort.
If you have a big nose:
- Don't have a hairstyle that highlights the centre of your face like a middle part. A side part is better.
- Expose your forehead instead of covering it. If you have a bad/receding hairline, try to expose the bottom part of your forehead while covering your hairline at the same time.
- Grow your hair out a bit instead of a buzz cut.
- Grow facial hair instead of being clean shaven as this will take attention away from your nose.
If you have a bad/recessed jaw:
- Grow out a beard to hide your lower third and shape it.
If you have unbalanced facial thirds:
- If your lower third is too short, grow a beard/goatee to lengthen it.
- If your midface is too long, grow a moustache and keep hair on your sides (don't get a fade).
- If your forehead is too long, get a hairstyle that covers it.
If you are high bf %:
- Grow out your hair. A buzz cut will make your face look bigger in comparison.
- Grow out your beard.
Tips for hair:
- Use conditioner after shampoo.
- Use sea salt spray.
- Use leave in conditioner when using sea salt spray.
- Apply heat protectant spray when using a hair dryer.
- Use a diffuser attatchment for hair dryer.
- Use a texture powder for more texture + volume.
- Use hair clay for styling if you don't want your hair to look greasy.
- Use hair spray after styling so that wind doesn't screw up your hair.
Tips for beard:
- Use either avocado oil mixed with peppermint oil (mix 1 oz/2 tbsp avocado oil with 3-6 drops of peppermint oil and apply to face after a warm shower) or minoxidil to help with beard growth.
- Brush it in the direction you want it to grow.
- Wash it regularly and apply beard oil.
- Trim it regularly so it doesn't look unkempt.
