I’m 5ft7 and find it absurd that when you’re short asf you either have 2 options. Stay skinny witch makes you look like short feminine twink, or bulk and end up getting a compressed manlet look.

Same height as you. If you wanna look at the positive side of things, a lot of those "big guys" you see on stages share our height. Enter Hadi Choopan, Tren Twins, Franco Columbu, Aleksey Lesukov, etc. If you want my opinion, you get to pack muscle a lot faster (naturally) as opposed to taller men who require more calories and have a more difficult time doing it due to the muscle's length. It's simple: make the best of what you have. The only problem I'd see is if you wanna become SUPER jacked, then yeah, you will give those mini pekka vibes.

You will never look too big as a natural lifter unless you go above 20% body fat.

I mean, does this guy look too big? He is 5'5"

Or just build a reasonable amount of mass and get lean after ? Why would you need to get absurdly wide that makes no sense

Most of the best looking celebrities are your height tom cruise, James Macavoy, mark Wahlberg, James dean, Robert Downey jr, almost all Kpop and Bollywood stars. They are all neither bulky or twinks, you can look very good with natural athletic build. Also, it's easier for you to bodybuild if you want to go that route but remember face is most important, so do go bloatlord like Joe Rogan (guy used to be really good looking but took too many roids and has a polumbo gut and bald/fat face now).
