Im going to be honest, in social situations (school, family events, etc.), my mannerisms are all over the place. Im highly anxious and constantly overthinking how i act. i fidget, struggle with eye contact, i sometimes talk too fast or become completely silent. I often replay conversations in my head afterward. It honestly feels like i come across as autistic or socially disoriented, im tired of feeling like that person in every room. Id like to ask, what mannerisms make someone perceive more confident and approachable, and which ones should be avoided. What habits are worth practicing and what should i work on stopping?
Im looking for honest advice jfl, i know that looks matter but at some point your actions and mannerisms are just as important to get approached. I genuinely want to grow and become more socially acceptable.
