They always portray a nice guy who gets treated poorly by others, while the popular kid everyone wants to befriend is always a jerk.
For example, in The Amazing Spider-Man, there's a scene where everyone, including girls, cheers for Flash to make another guy eat something,
which never happen in real life.
High school movies with a nerdy main character are almost always about an revenge fantasy.
Girls don't let the writer fuck and he thing everyone is bullying him
I feels like the writer is still bitter about not being most handsome guy and fuck all girls in high school.

All forms of high art are just the demented unconscious manifestations of incel minds that couldn't get laid in high-school

Well, it's not really from the movie writers. They adapt the story from the comics in live action

Yeah, American high school movies operate in a binary, black & white view of the world, with no nuances, and it's even worse when American users project this to the whole world, ignoring the nuances of different countries and the real world, in my last school I saw pretty boys getting mocked by ugly dudes; ugly guys having a decent social life; socially inept individuals having bad grades, while popular guys having good grades.... but I've never seen someone that always act like a jerk being liked by everyone.

At my high school, students with good grades tend to be more confident than the average student.
Sometimes, I wonder if Hollywood writers have ever attended school

Hollywood writers are molester Chad's who know what will appeal to normie masses

This is not exclusive to Joollywood. Most fiction in general follows that type of storyline
