There are many people who live such superficial lives that they are incapable of bonding with others who are not like them.
For example, there is this girl I walk past occasionally on my college campus, and have seen in the gym with her friend. I have no idea who she is, but every time I have ever seen her, she has been gossiping about somebody or talking shit about them. No joke. Every time. There are people with so little going on in their life that their personality is other people.
This is a type of person that is so repulsive to anybody besides others like themself. I feel like these are the typical NT talking points for people that have no hobbies. Talking about their hookup last night, somebody they hate, etc. Never anything interesting because they have no hobbies. They will find it humorous if you do anything differently.
The world seems to engineer people like this though. People born without empathy who live their entire life following a basic template/trends.
