Im sure this has been discussed already, but Ive noticed that many, if not most mirros have some significant distortion, especially cheap mirrors. Some partially, some wholly.

I have a small round mirror and if I rotate it, it can give me like 1 cm eye asymmetry on horizontal level, then I rotate it more and the eyes are on same level.

Noticed same shit with bigger mirrors. If you just move half a step to the side, you will see how your head and face shape distorts.

Id say that its actually rare to have a mirror that has 0 distortion.

Life fuel cause I used to think that I had more facial asymmetry than was actually the case.

Not exactly what Im saying. What you have noticed is indeed correct, most ppl look better in the mirror than on fotos, simply because fotos will allways have some sort of lens or physical distortion. Even with a correct photo lens size, you will often have distortion, depending on the lens angle towards the person. Also it depends if youre standing in the middle of the lens or on the edge of it.

So yes, most ppl will look better IRL and in the mirror compared to fotos.

BUT- there are some cheap mirrors, that have distortion. Some mirros only have distortion in particular areas, so that if you move slightly to the side, you might have a distortion-less view.

I've transitioned through all black pill phases as a long time PSL user, I know everything there is to know about a face and how it translates to reality and interacts with your personality etc

I'd say most here are in the transitional period where they need to still incorporate the looks pill into real life and form an objective sense of it through repeated exposure to competitive environments like clubs to see what actually consistently happens

bought that shit 2 years ago so 'im used to it now but lately i stopped looking at myslef in any mirror for 2 months since i found i was being more productive looksmaxing wise that way but i decided to look back into the true mirror and the shock was brutal af i actually cried and stopped eating for 2 days afterwards .

but honestly for everyone planning on any surgery i think its a really usefull tool . The only drawback is the quality of the mirror especially on the center of the mirror it gets damaged really quickly on the 200£ model

Tinder pics arent usually from the back camera and far away, but rather close pics.. But reguardless. Theres more physical distortion and lens distortion going on with a photo lens vs mirror.

You can have a proper photo lens and far away, but if youre on the edge of the picture/lens, there will be some slight distortion too.
