I am considering getting MARPE but i really dont care about the health reasons mostly aesthetics i have a 8 tooth upper smile and a mildly recessed maxilla my upper palate is sorta narrow and i wanted to know if its worth it. all i want is at least a little bit of forward growth in the maxilla, i understand i sound like a grey but i just need your thoughts.

bro wtf this is too early, at least use it in your late teens, maybe 2 smth years later. But yeah, it's true that MARPE uses mini-implants anchored in bone, so it can expand the palate after growth has finished. AFTER growth has finished so it's mostly useless rn so just wait bro

rpe may work at your age i had one at 15 and had very good expansion
