Marpe at 15

Im 15 rn and got approved for marpe.My ortho told me that i am only going to get 6mm of skeletal expansion going from a 36mm palate to a 41mm palate.
I feel like 6mm is not alot and i was hoping for around 8-10m
Costs 11k for marpe jfl is it still worth getting for 6mm of expansion

ask for a larger expansion if he refuses i dont think its worth it imo if your aiming for looks ofc

you should get it if you want to breathe better and youll see how its gonna turn out for your looks

Any expansion is better than no expansion, if you can get more great, but even some will ascend you.

I’ve even looked into it myself, and you can get one where they attach bands to some device which hovers in front of your maxilla, and it gives you forward growth. Definitely worth it 100%

okay cool, yeah i dont think im going to get a reverse pull headgear because it js wasent offerd.Im going to talk to my ortho abt expanding more tho but if we cant 6mm is still better
