its pretty obvious by looking at the state of relationships in 2026 but I think marriage is a COPE in general even in the 90s, 70s, 1500s etc. at first human babies were raised by the collaboration of the tribe but as humans discovered farming and the first blueprints of civilization started to form, we needed a way to determine who would inherit the land of the man. This was done by looking at the mans offspring and soon a man had his own private partner (wife )- as religion started to develop, traditions formed around it. This proves that marriage is not something "natural" so naturally modern and even older marriages are fragile and divorce rates are sky high and keep in mind this is not because "mun modern women are evil bro" it's because they have their own free will and even before they would divorce their husbands if given the option to.

old marriages were more than only a ring, they meant a status that had to be maintaned, thats why they lasted that long

Men are superior to women and it’s shown that way in every religion.

We messed up making them “free”

No it's not. My wife serves to make my life easier.
I believe it should be that way, the wife serving you. But you also need to play your part as a man.

And not a lot of women want to serve

So what was natural? For the dominant male to have them all? So hypergamy is nature and anyone whining about it is a retard? Is this the "cold harsh truth" you came to?

The term "Cheaper to keep her" shows you that men are in a perpetual state of financial fear when the honeymoon phase wears off

They must be inspired to serve, with St cks and carrots.

I do my part as a man. Protecting and making the money, but it's not my time to elevate her. My satisfaction comes before everyone else in the household. Telling her no is a big part of marriage. I have the final say. She's not allowed to rant and rave, robbing me of my peace, if I make a decision she doesn't like. I'll piss on the floor or beat her ass if she does that.

I have the right to tell her the conversation is over with, but she doesn't have that liberty with me.

Marriage is a psyop to neuter men’s innate desire to spread his seed across multiple partners

You don’t lust for other women at all?
Of course I do. Men are extremely visually oriented. I don't try to fuck or flirt with nobody else but other women do make my dick hard from time. Just looking at them or talking with them. Especially when I know they want to fuck.

What benefits do you actually get from marriage
Sex, companionship, someone who does all the domestic chores and takes care of my child.

so you need someone around you constantly, and can't keep up with your own home?

I can keep up my home. But why the fuck would I want to?

And I don't need anybody around all the time. It's good to have though.

If you had a million dollars would you give it all away just because you don't need it?

dnr being born out of wedlock sucks and I don't wish that fate on anyone, the closer a couple is to God the closer they are together and that requires marriage
