trueMost martial artist are abused dogs
Yeah it's really annoyingthere is really no inbetween
they also then make those posts on social media talm about "imagine you get jumped and all you can do is chase a ball"
Our muay thai coach today brutally bullied some 5'5 overweight ltn. It was really hard to watch.depends how you meet. people I know at the dojo are always the most chill in my experience. but sometimes you meet people outside and they tell you they do it, personally I don't mind at all saying I do it since I love it but sometimes you dont mention it since people will want a fight or whatever to test you out, you meet a martial artist outside of it and some of them are indeed very insecure and weak. but its really just that these guys dont train seriously or havent for long and so they have felt how much they can do compared to the average person who is untrained. they just dont realise that they are often talking to people who train and just didnt mention it when they start shadow boxing to show off jfl. a lot of my friends train with me and we meet "boxers" who are mostly "self trained" more often than you would expect
Yeah, I forgot about the coaches. Im blessed to have one of the best dudes jve ever met as my karate coach, but back a hear ago my judo coach was the biggest dickhead around. The real issue was that he was just running the dojo to train his daughters and didnt even want the rest of us to be there really. For the most part I think that other students are pretty alrightOur muay thai coach today brutally bullied some 5'5 overweight ltn. It was really hard to watch.
Yeah the students I have come across are alright. It's this 1 coach that is an asshole.Yeah, I forgot about the coaches. 1 of our coaches apparently is a champion and yet he's still an asshole.most of the guys that are high level are humble kings
yea but champion of what, that could just be some BS title1 of our coaches apparently is a champion and yet he's still an asshole.
Like national champion of kickboxing but yes you're right some titles are pure BS.yea but champion of what, that could just be some BS title
my gym has loads of dudes in the UFC and the majority are all super humble and willing to roll, take time to teach me technique, super positive, and so on. Maybe i have a biased perspective because im a decent training partner for some of them but from what ive seen the majority (not all) are humble, but confident guys.
it increased my ethnic hate i still love all whites to death.any combat sportcels agree?
i think the kickboxers/muay thai guys are more hardass. At least thats what ive noticed. Our old muay thai coach at the gym was a bit of an aggressive demon but he was usually tolerable.Like national champion of kickboxing but yes you're right some titles are pure BS.
martial arts are so cool idk why ppl choose to bully ppl just bc they know some shitThey either have a confident, chad and friendly aura or they're really insecure and want to bully you
Is there a reason for this? I mean if I was a champion I wouldn't be a piece of shit because I wouldn't need to.i think the kickboxers/muay thai guys are more hardass. At least thats what ive noticed. Our old muay thai coach at the gym was a bit of an aggressive demon but he was usually tolerable.
the quiet ones would beat your ass and the ones that talk shit went to the gym one time and thinks he can fightany combat sportcels agree?
Yeah exactly. I remember I was in BJJ the instructor was a quiet black belt who looked like a killer. I insantly respected himthe quiet ones would beat your ass and the ones that talk shit went to the gym one time and thinks he can fight
i think the dudes that get into striking alone (muay thai and kickboxing) are more likely to be the ones that get into it for the wrong reasons (fucked up childhood, want to take their anger out, etc etc) and so the ones that do end up becoming good sometimes never were able to let go of their past traumas and mental roadblocks, hence the constant need to prove they are alpha and just be dickheads overall. Is there a reason for this? I mean if I was a champion I wouldn't be a piece of shit because I wouldn't need to.
This might actually be true. Grapplers from my experience are way more humble than boxers/kickboxers.i think the dudes that get into striking alone (muay thai and kickboxing) are more likely to be the ones that get into it for the wrong reasons (fucked up childhood, want to take their anger out, etc etc) and so the ones that do end up becoming good sometimes never were able to let go of their past traumas and mental roadblocks, hence the constant need to prove they are alpha and just be dickheads overall.
whereas on the other hand the dudes that grapple aren't as likely to be in it to take their anger out (because think, it'd be more satisfying to most to just punch somebody) and also the path to becoming a good grappler is much more humbling and arduous, so i think even the ones that do start out fucked up get humbled along the way.
thats my weird, long-ass take though.
Depends what your motivations areIt's all pretty gay tbh
Incel sport

im telling you bro its so interesting to meThis might actually be true. Grapplers from my experience are way more humble than boxers/kickboxers.
