will we ever get a unified theory of everything in science?

Well it is hard to link classical physics to more modern quantum physics and things such as the uncertainty principle.

There are some possibilitys in my opinion,

1)we will one day and the world will be revolutionised
2)we will keep on making theorys and discoverys and form a database of all the knowledge discovered by humanity
3)we have already discovered most of what we physically can with science
4)we were never intended to find a theory of this so it will just be impossible

all in all I believe ingenueity in the philosophical side of physics and science as a whole has been wholly underaprecciated in the modern days and now scientific minds are more focused on developing the newest technology.

newton was a dick, he got pleasure in stealing ideas from others and giving scientists "broken hearts" Newton was a flawed man and his ideas were not all correct but I do think newtonian mechanics hold up quite well, why do you prefer lagrangian?

lagrangian mechanics mostly uses scalar quantity which makes my mech. course hw problems significantly easier

agreed. i remember struggling with understanding action for ages lol. newtonian mechanics didnt fuck us, still cool. i prefer lagrangean mech tho
