This tbh. There's no way I'm altering my life and making it worse by changing my lifestyle to please "god" and be religious or whatever. The idea of a god, or a supernatural power just sounds really idiotic if you look at how fucked the world is. Only way I'm considering religion maxxing is if end up arab/islam maxxing (which I'm considering if it's legit), but other than that there's no way.

The idea of heaven/hell also sounds really stupid. But I'll say this though. I don't know how BS this is, but I've heard about people doing MDMA, or drugs etc (never done it myself. Too high inhib, don't wanna get addicted or end up going clinically and mentally insane).. Or when people get oxygen cut from the brain and they're basically dead). That there's some really weird shit going with your neurons, chemicals etc in your soul/mind before it stops completely. You see crazy shit, crazy shit happens basically. This happens just before you're officially declared clinically dead.

I guess maybe I'm willing to sort of accept something like this? ie that something like this happens when you die? But that's the furthest I'm willing to go with it. Even if this is true, the idea of heaven/hell probably doesn't make that much sense despite it. Or, I guess maybe you go to heaven/hell for 5 minutes? (Before you die for real if that makes sense). Or maybe your mind just goes apeshit the last 5 minutes, and everything you've done in your lifetime is completely irrelevant? There's also so many different gods. Maybe it's not about a religion and worshipping a god, but simply about living a good, moral life vs not doing it? Or maybe everything is just complete BS. You don't have to "pay" during those 5 minutes when you're "basically dead" regardless how immoral you've been. Maybe everything in spirituality and nothing of what I said above even happens. Who knows. Which is exactly why I don't care and I don't follow/believe in religion.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I might dig up my Bible again pretty soon, I'm sure it's covered in a good layer of dust by now lol. And agree that it's real, I've felt it before. But I have to be honest, I do hate the fact that my relationship with others, especially my parents is going to take a big hit when I get spiritual again. All of my friends are agnostic too right now so it will literally be me against the world. One of the reasons I switched to agnosticism in 2018 was partly to improve the relationship with my parents and truth be told, it's been better than ever since I made the switch. Having the feeling of being alone on a spiritual level made me unhappy at the time when I was a Christian. Of course, you should value your relationship with God over earthly beings but being a Christian in this day and age is just so damn hard, especially when little/no one around you shares your ideas.

Alternating your lifestyle to please God is not for everyone, you're spot on about that. It can make you feel unhappy when no one around you is spiritual, it happened to me and worsened the relationship with my parents. Being agnostic makes me feel a lot happier honestly and my relationships to other people improve greatly as a result from that.

The drugs part is an intriguing one for sure, Mike Tyson had a really interesting video about this:

And I'm anti-religious myself btw, religion is man-made and exploits others. Spirituality, on the other hand, I believe in because that's personal. At the end of the day, no one can prove there's a God for 100% and no one can prove that there's no God for 100%. That's why as of right now, agnosticism makes the most sense for me. Lots of people believe in the Devil and demons too though (with good evidence) so surely good exists too? If things in this world get really sick, twisted and chaotic (even more than now) I'm 100% returning to spirituality I do know that.
