My temples moved back this year but I can’t tell if it’s mature or receding. I turn 25 in September so I’m assuming it’s just a mature hairline. I have a derm appointment in September.

Pic 1 is of me at 20, I’ve always had a shit hairline. Pic 2/3 is this morning at 24 going 25.

Lol that's not receding

Also tell yourself if you were really becoming bald you could ALWAYS get hair transplant and it's rather cheap... Going on fin would fuck your mood and would put you under the constant pressure of "Am I losing my hair" seriously bad shit to be honest.

All men have DHT except fin copers, all men experience a period in their teenagehood when they get from "boyish hairline" to a more mature one

That’s what I read online but according to this forum a mature hair line is cope and you have started the balding process.

It is though, it's quite literally recession. Regardless be on the lookout if it's genuine balding starting.

100% wrong

Hair from the back of the head that are transplanted on the top of the head are resistant to DHT. Stop telling utter shits

holy cope you dumbass, stop lying to these people. Transplant is almost ALWAYS bundled with finasteride or something to stop further hair loss, you are not gonna be safe with a fucking transplant. Jude Law has gotten transplants and he still looks like shit because his hair loss genes are insane.

Take the single case out of 10000. Hair from the back of the head ARE NOT PRONE TO DHT MINIATURIZATION

3 ideally, 4 is alright too though. Anything more than 4 and you need to fix your hairline

according to my research the difference is a mature hairline stops for an extended period of time before you actually start balding

you aren’t going to keep your juvenile hairline forever

but yeah you’re right I’m watching it

Indeed. hair is everything, be on the lookout and never cope with stress or shedding. Your hairline is still good but if it gets further get on something asap, easier to prevent than regrow.

Yeah make this poor man go on finastride and fuck his hormones without any clinical evaluation that he is effectively experiencing any real form of MPB...

Introduction: Finasteride has been associated with sexual side effects that may persist despite discontinuation of the medication. In a clinical series, 20% of subjects with male pattern hair loss reported persistent sexual dysfunction for ≥6 years, suggesting the possibility that the dysfunction may be permanent. These subjects also reported a wide range of symptoms including changes in cognition, ejaculate quality, and genital sensation. Other medications have been associated with irreversible neurological effects, such as phenothiazines with tardive dyskinesias.
Conclusion: In most men who developed persistent sexual side effects (≥3 months) despite the discontinuation of finasteride, the sexual dysfunction continued for many months or years. Although several rat studies have shown detrimental changes to erectile function caused by 5 alpha reductase inhibitors, the persistent nature of these changes is an area of active research. Prescribers of finasteride and men contemplating its use should be made aware of the potential adverse medication effects.

your hairline is receeding but it looks better now than before dedsrs.

Also I am not saying hair aren't important, indeed they are life unless you are testosterone ogre maxxing. I am just saying going straight on fin without looking for ANY real proof he is effectively experience MPB would be the dumbest idea ever in his case. That's it.

In the future if I experience some real proven shits with my hair I could actually hope on ru58841 myself.

More fearmongering, very few people have the actual side effects. Regardless I'm making him aware, 1mg of finasteride will prevent possible shattering looks loss, hair is incredibly vital.

I'd much rather get 50% dht reduction than be an NW3 subhuman in my 20's when my competition is full haired guys that have the same traits as me if not better. The side effects are real but not nearly as wide spread as you think.
