Maxilla chin projection

Not sure how I ended up with it, but my maxilla has become downward as I’ve grown older. I’m about to turn 17 and my chin isn’t really projected, so ideally if I keep correct tongue posture into my late stages of growth, will my chin go more forward or should I just get like a lefort 1 or something. I’m not familiar with any surgeries so correct me if I sound dumb about anything.
