That validates the bone remodeling process by Wolf Law processes like Mewing etc in facial bones area (no growth plates in ur face just sutures)

I think that the physical reactivation of the facial sutures zones by soft long term forces (that weren't present before) allow them overtime to correct a residual growth deficiency (if ur genetical state allows it in his self expression of course) to adapt to the new pattern of forces established if ur bones are not yet in the resorbing part due to the drop of hormonal levels with aging (andropausis)

21 yo girl patient :

"Maxillary deficiency was successfully corrected by means of tongue appliance, slow palatal expansion, lower fixed appliance, reverse chin cup, and upper fixed appliance."

This another study dedied to jaw bone validates the Wolf Law process of Chewing, it seems too that the jaw bone is the most responsive facial bone to forces

A last one

"This suggests that systemic factors such as hormones and external stimuli can induce the same response in morphological traits, and that the nature of this response depends on the timing of the perturbation in relation to the intrinsic trajectory of growth of each structure. Clearly, the regulation of growth through systemic factors along with environmental interactions is a major source of phenotypic variation in complex morphological structures which is still only beginning to be understood."
