maxillary prognathism and lefort 1?

What is the cure for prognathism? A surgeon spoke about a lefort 1, but wouldnt this give me a maximum chimp face?

U can have recessed lower maxilla with nrml/well developed upper maxilla

The pb is when u have recessed maxilla and recessed upper maxilla

Advancing the lower maxilla can make you look like chimp depending on your face

My upper teeth are very forward grown, but my midface (maxilla) is recessed. I also got nasolabial folds.
I suffer from a narrow face with very small palate and mandible.

Hmm yeah exactly as you said. You probably swallowed in a very wrong way pushing into teeth with the tongue while swallowing instead of pushing against upper palate. Or you thimb sucked as a child for too long.

Anyways its probably harder to fix than normal recessed maxilla. Youd need some sort of highly customized and individualized face pulling I guess.. Imo.
