also could 2.5-3" on both bones be achieved (for a total of 5-6")

8 cm / 3.15" on femurs (thigh bones) and
5-6 / 2" cm on tibae (shin bones) is considered the limit.

If combined 13-14 cm / 5-5.5".

Alternative strategy 4 cm in each, then rebreak and 4 cm in each again weeks apart for 16 cm / 6.3".

Of course, limited by how much length your proportions, body, time and finances you will tolerate. A simple leg to body ratio limit is, sitting height ÷ height shouldn't go below 0.49.

been over a year since I began lurking on the LL forum tbh. I understand why you think it's a pipe dream procedure though.

do you permanently lose mobility/muscle functionality or is that just post-recovery

If I was 5'6 like my projected height id get it but 5'10 and 5'11 with shoe frauding is fine and I'm satisfied with that height in the West.

Cba paying for it, recovery as well, but overall worth if your shorter than 5'10.

you lose some functionality but you'll be able to run, walk, do daily stuff and casual sports after physio
don't get it if you have athletic aspirations

Anything more than 3" and you're risking incapacitation

praying for ur proportions :heart::heart:

If I did it I would do 2 inches. Enough To ascend To next height tier and less risks of losing your athletic ability. I mean there has To be some point where it doesnt affect your long term athletic ability at all, like 3/4 inches. Of course no ones gonna get 3/4" LL

I think it's probably safer/has better outcome than many other procedures, but it's the pain and super long time to wait that scares me
