(Summary will be at the end) (This is not correlated to wolffs law, explaination on point 3) (Skip to point 6. if you want to practically use it for lm)
1. Bone is load-responsive tissue
Bone is constantly being broken down and rebuilt. Mechanical loading is one of the main signals that tells bone where it needs to stay strong or get stronger.

2. Theory behind it
When a bone gets loaded, the tissue deforms slightly. Bone cells, especially osteocytes, sense that strain and trigger signaling that shifts remodeling toward maintenance or formation where load is highest. This is the basis of the mechanostat idea.
This scheme should explain it:

3.Why it isn't correlated to wolffs law:
A major source of bone loading is muscle pull. Stronger, repeated muscle contractions create local mechanical stress at the sites where muscles attach, and bone adapts to that stress over time. Meanwhile Wolffs law isn't related to muscles at all.

4. Where we can see this irl:
a. Old sedative people usually not only lose musclemass, but also bonemass.
b. Kids who eat soft foods lack jaw development.

5. correlation to facial bones:
The jaws also respond to mechanical load. In animal studies, softer diets reduce masticatory loading and are linked to smaller mandibular growth and altered jaw morphology. Harder mastication has been linked to higher bone formation signals in jaw regions under muscle load.

6. How can you actually use it for your ascendsion?

Lift weights
Sprint or jump
Stay physically active year round (water:forcedsmile:)
For the jaws, chew hard foods (not goyslop), don't use jaw trainers, they will ruin your bite or pop your braces.

Conclusion: Chewing>Bonesmashing.

What matters most is that the force should be bone borne and sustainable to produce visible remodeling. Muscle contractions are def more effective than thumbpulling and bs, that doesnt necessarily mean the effect is sufficient tho

for adolescent jaw development chewing is the main part though?

I’ve seen progress doing it that something must be working

Yes. Gonions are easier to remodel since the masseters are much stronger than other facial muscles

This is only the bare minimum to maintain bone density though not get osteoporosis or some shit.

yeah bro it doesn't, only thumbpulling does. don't talk when you know nothing
what you described is literally wolffs law nigga, gtfo this forum :feelswhy:

no one else who replied agrees wih you. wolfs law is caused by microfractures in the bone, mechanical tensions is muscles around the bones working. @mohi_100 literally agreed and he is the smartest user on the forum:lul:
