Medial canthus cutting or other means of improving the medial canthus?

I am curious if anyone has ever tried or has frequently attempted cutting their medial canthus to extend it and make it downturned. This is a rather un-discussed topic and I have not been able to find much information on it. If anyone knows of any legitimate surgical procedures that can accomplish the extended and downturned look, has tried it themselves, or knows about this topic, then please respond or pm with whatever information you have about this. I would like to know how dangerous it is and what the worse case scenario would be if attempted. Thank you very much anyone information or testimonials will be greatly appreciated.
