As the population gets older there will lower supply of doctors cause of retirement and demand will rise as old people need more treatment. There are a lot of medicine related jobs aswell. Radiologist (xray),optometrist(optician), audiologist( ears) nursing(95% woman most hot) dentistry and many more) in the UK these jobs are all separate that doctors and you don't need a medicine degree. Depends on country tho
