-> They would work 5/6 days a week
-> rotating between a ‘slow’ 6-8 hour day, from 10am-4-6pm and a ‘fast’ 2/3 hour day that would end before 1pm
-> they had their housing and 3 meals a day provided for by their lord
-> In December tans throughout Winter they worked even less, they would earn “winter wages” - half a days pay for half a days work
-> They took religious holidays off, Sundays off, Some Mondays off and 3-4 months a year in entirety
