Taking it 5 whole HOURS prior to desired bedtime.

It may sound stupid but works insanely well. I get that subtle onset of calming down during my evening that I only experienced as a child before sleep issues.

I tried melatonin from GNC back in the late-90s. I started with the recommended dose of a couple of tablets. Felt nothing.

So, I increased the dose and took double the amount (4 tablets).

A couple of hours later, I still felt nothing, so I poured about 20 tablets into my palm and swallowed them.

Finally, I got so frustrated that I literally took the whole bottle and swallowed all the pills.

I didn't sleep any better that night. It was like I had swallowed placebos.

Retard melatonin has no additional affect after 0.1mg

It's very easy to overkill melatonin and crash your dopamine the next day. GABA powder is the best.
