So I went to a hair transplant clinic and got told that there was no need for a hair transplant on the hairline and that just by doing capilar mesotherapy, changing fin to dut and switching from topic to oral min (gotta get it made on a pharmacy because no one sells oral min in my country) would thicken all the hair in my hairline back to it's normal state and that it seems that I'm one of those individuals that doesn't respond well to topic minox. Do you think this could work or should I ask in a different clinic for a different opinion? Also I read about dut making you age more than fin due to it reducing some sebum shit even more and making yiu more prone to wrinkles, should I switch to it?

Mesotherapy is a waste of money.

Don’t get the mesotherapy but do get the oral min prescription and stay on it that shit is very effective at regrowing hair. How long have you been on fin and what’s your dose?

6 months of fin 1 pill a day, dont remember how many mg,

If I didn’t see your hairline, I could tell from the hair on your hand that you’ll suffer from balding

Unless you’re still seeing recession/thinning there’s no reason to hop on Dut. Try to get the oral min though it’s very effective at regrowth. Try oral min for a few months and if you don’t get any regrowth then go for the hair transplant

Mesotherapy is a waste of money.
it does work but it depends on the clinic and the procedure

the one that works the best is dutasteride mesotherapy , it's basically dutasteride micro-injections on the scalp, you do one session every 2-3 months

there are some results on reddit :

(this one is 4 months)

and this one is just one month (one session) hair is a bit longer but you can definitely see it thickened up

They didn't control for his hair growing over time, so these results are useless. He still needs a transplant for his hairline.

of course they both need a transplant, but at least they need less grafts now and dut mesotherapy is almost side effects free and you only do a session once in a while and the gains are keepable so you have nothing to lose even if the gains are small

If they're injecting the dutasteride into his bloodstream, there's an increased risk of side effects. You can microneedle and apply topical dutasteride for similar results. Or you can inject the dutasteride at home. Paying a clinic to do that is a waste of money.

From what I researched they inject more than just dut, the thing that confuses me is that this clinic focuses mostly on doing all kinds of hair transplants but they said I could get the hair back to its original state with this treatment and that the transplant wasn't needed and the mesotherapy is multiple times cheaper than the trasnplant so it's not like they are trying to scam me off of money.

Transplants are a one-time procedure (unless you get multiple). They want you to come back to the clinic to pay for mesotherapy.

I always wondered what would happen if you took body hair from unwanted parts of you body and then used minoxidil for recovery to thicken them until you got the hair thickness you want

You could get them considerably thick the issue with hair transplants is you’ll never get the same hair density because the current tools we have can’t pack the grafts close enough without risking the hair graft not surviving

I’m African American so my hair is curly and it would take up more room but considering you know this what would that entail for me

Also I got this idea when I saw Floyd may weathers hair transplant because I was brainstorming ideas where he could have gotten Al that hair

You can transplant beard hair, hair from the back of your head, and pubic hair. He probably got that shit from the doner area at the back of the head and his pubes jfl. I think hair transplants on black people work much better because your hair is just naturally thicker compared to other races.

How about arm/leg hair and chest hair even though it’s thin I think minox would thicken it a lot

That's bs, I know 2 different guys with the hairiest hands and bodies I've ever seen and both are NW1 at 30

I think beard hair, chest hair and pubic hair are second to head hair in terms of how useful they are for hair transplants. Body hair can be used when your donor area is depleted but ideally you want to use the hair from the back of your head for transplants. And if you used body hair for transplants you would probably need to go on oral minoxidil to see any gains in hair thickness
