Its a slow process, but overtime your teeth's will get back to how they were if you refuse to wear it

Retainers aren't used for life. If you already used them for long enough, you no longer need them. If your teeth weren't very crooked but just slightly, retainers aren't always needed after braces are removed.

My TMJ improved by like 60% once I got my permanent retainers taken out by my new orthodontist and my tongue could sit properly again.

Retainers aren't used for life. If you already used them for long enough, you no longer need them. If your teeth weren't very crooked but just slightly, retainers aren't always needed after braces are removed.

I barely wore mine after taking braces off (only wore them at nighttime) and my teeth were horrible before. Still no change

Nah Atleast for me they didn’t my dad also has them for his bottom teeth only tho
Even when I got the installed I didn’t feel anything
