It will not lengthen your jaw but can give this impression if well done (hyoid bone in the right place).
And it will definitely be a game changer where there is harmony at stake or in improving the upper face.

A bad "jawline" is almost never an occlusional/morphological issue.

Jawline = low bodyfat percentage and maybe some depth with a bit more bone and muscle mass.

You can be recesssed as you want and still have a defined "jawline" (again cringe at that term) if you're very lean. I see it on the streets all the time.

Same with hollow cheeks.
