When I mew I clench my teeth for a sec and then I unclench to make my teeth touch each other. Could this wear the teeth down resulting in a smaller mandible/chin? Should I keep my teeth together?

Papi mew says your teeth should be slightly touching while mewing, but not clenching. Clenching will result in bruxism apparently and only long philtrum neanderthalcels could benefit from that
