MSE is potential IPD gain also

+ is way less invasive, u avoid nerve damage risks and other complications.

Midline osteotomy winter affect upper midface as they segment the area that gets split. So you will have a wider palate and nose but that’s it.

My surgeon suggested Midline osteotomy over MSE and he said it's the same but osteotomy is more "Brute force" approach

Yeah you will get it with the Lefort 1, or else you’re talking about sarpe. Either way they make a cut above the area of the actual midline osteotomy to separate the segmented parts in isolation.

MSE is cheaper and you get expand up to 2cm; which is the genetic limit for most people. Also the biggest benefit of all is you can increase fWHR all while going to work, socializing, working out, eating, etc. so you’re looksmaxxing every second with no real down time
