I read the expected change is 6-10mm is it true?
5-10mm is the expected change in children, not if you start using it from 16-17, in adults then its around 3mm and its mostly tipping your teeth. not worth it imo

mark my answer as a solution it makes my profile look better!!!
no, transverse palate/maxilla expansion will make your jaw appear even more narrow in comparison

palatal expansion
MARPEs don't provide any aesthetic benefit, its like the 20th time i'm saying this, the effect is not strong enough to be noticed externally unless you're using it since 10 years old

MARK MY ANSWER AS A SOLUTION BY CLICKING THE CHECKMARK ON THE RIGHT ->

it depends a lot on if your suture is fused or not, if its not fused (which is a reasonable assumption) then 5-8mm can be realistic

you cant check if its fused without xrays, can be quite complicated

Yo 1 more thing, those +5mm will be on each side or on total face width?
