Obviously surgery like a bimax/lefort/bsso would be better, but i don't think many surgeons will do it without an actual reason to. So couldn't you use mid-face implants to fix a recessed midface?

I had a premaxillary implant to simulate lefort 1.

The results were decent but it has its limitations.

In the end, your upper jaw is in the exact same place with simply an implant filling in some areas that have recession - masking the issue rather than solving it.

Nothing would beat moving the upper jaw forward by a few mm.
