Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice regarding mild Hemifacial Microsomia (HFM) and possible surgical corrections. I’m a [age] male with mild asymmetry:
I’m interested in realistic surgical or non-surgical options to achieve facial symmetry, particularly around the jaw, cheeks, eyes, and ears. I’ve read about mandibular lengthening, genioplasty, ear reshaping, and soft-tissue adjustments, but I’d like to know:
I want honest, experienced advice. I’m not looking for trolls or generic comments. Thanks in advance!
- Right side weaker
- Eye slightly lower
- Ear slightly lower
- Cheek flatter
- Jaw slightly shorter on that side

- What are the most common procedures for mild HFM in someone my age?
- What results can be realistically expected?
- Any tips on preparing for surgery or choosing a surgeon experienced in mild HFM?
