Mild sleep apnea enough to push for insurance covered bimax?

I dont need to totally fraud it I have it Im pretty sure just not very strong. Could I push jaw surgery? because recessions are what causes this even though other treatment options exist. Where I live its quite expensive 20k+ and I need all the money for LL jfl. Has someone got it covered because of sleep apnea? Dont think its the first line treatment but would be life fuel if you could talk your doctor into arranging this for you

depends. if you have a medium-heavy index of 15, they should authorize it, maybe even lower, but I think that every state, the insurance company has it set differently. Do you have an overbite or a normal bite?

Slight overbite. One problem I see is if I pretend its for purely medical reasons at first can I then backtrack on it and explain I also want it to look good? I mean the surgery is pretty invasive either way and bound to change ones facial appearance so being concerned about these things should be normal to them right?

you can because you choose a surgeon, not an insurance company or someone else. If you live in a western or developed country, most maxfacs take this into account. if you would think hes not trying to satisfy you, just go to the next one.
