For this summer, I have a 3 month break. I'm currently grinding hard to save up enough money for a few hardmaxxes.

These are realistic hardmaxxes that shouldn't be too hard to recover from, and should improve my QOL substantially.

Firstly, to fix my hairline and hair in general, I will get both a scalp advancement and hair transplant
- Scalp advancement surgery, $7500, recovery time around 4 weeks.

(I will need to wait around a year before I can get a HT, however, which is fine as it gives 2.5mg DUT time to work as well).

Then for my lower third, I plan on getting:
- Mini wing genioplasty, $7500, recovery time around 6 months

So overall, my priority rn is to get $15000 in my bank by around April, and then I can start planning the surgeries for July/August time.

btw can somebody explain how 2.5mg DUT actually regrows hair? Of course it slows progression by reducing DHT, but how would it ever regrow hair...

It doesnt regrow the hair, just stops it from falling. That's why you need minoxidil to regrow the hair

I've seen people say DUT alone can regrow hair though? even without minoxidil. Some people even get regrowth from weaker 5-ar inhibitors like finasteride.

Well, I could be wrong. I just really don’t think it does. Someone can come in here & correct me if I am wrong though

nothing will regrow anything. only a transplant will fill those areas

makes sense. can a transplant also be used to improve density, i.e. by transplanting between pre-existing hairs or is it that not possible?

no, for density in the hairline area you're good with the forehead lowering thing, maybe for lowering the temples a bit a ht would be good to compliment the prior surgery

besides the hairs that will comeback shortly after some time (which i heard happens cause there's a shedding phase) i don't think it's a hair growth stimulant.
for that you need a dht blocker + some type of stimulant or surgery
