I’ve been on minoxidil 2 mg for 11 months and finasteride 1 mg for 8 months and my hairline still receding in the corners and ain’t showing no sign of stopping. All it’s done is just put extremely thin and sparse baby hairs along where my hairline used to be. Are there any other medications that can help cause if not ima just rope cause I can’t be balding no more bro

Bro it's just your hairline your def trolling but Jesus just grow your hair out lol your probably young ASF too

Nigga you can always get a Hairsystem.

add a topical anti androgen like ru58841, u may be prone to miniaturization due to scalp testosterone which would have increased substantially on finasteride

Not just my hairline bro, my hair is really thin and flat, impossible to style well without it just showing my chopped hairline or thinness, and so I gotta use hairspray which makes it look terrible anyway

been doing the same thing a couple of years ago along with other supplements + diet + sleep + praying god for 9 months and nothing worked. after stopping people kept telling me most people see the gains after 1 year of fin, so for you it might be worth it to continue, i would consult a doctor tbh

Yeah my dermatologist/doctor who prescribes me the pills says it looks like it’s working but idk bro I feel like by now the receeding should at least slow down but if anything it’s sped up over the last few months. I’m kinda just losing hope at this point.

are you also implementing natural treatments such as natural supplements and dht food blockers? there are a lot of videos on youtube for the natural methods that might aid and adds up to what you are already doing.
in my case, i tried making a natural DHT blocker oil for the first 3 months of treatments and it did help me grow some baby hair, which never really grew at a normal size so i stopped using it. it was a mix of pumpkin seed oil, coconut oil, saw palmetto, rosemary and something else. saw palmetto is also another antual supplement that is usually suggested in a lot of videos.
a certain food which do not block dht, but made my hair look more strong, was a cereal called "Mile", which doesnt taste great but i used to eat it everyday, and Biotin can also help your hair look more thick. ketaconazole and caffeine shampoo also help (shampoo every 3 days, not every day like most americans do).
you might also want to dermaroll to let minoxidil penetrate the scalp better, but ive hear that minoxidil doesnt work if certain enzymes in the body arent present (which is why it doesnt work for some people)

in case you dont know: Minoxidil is extremely deadly to cats, just a warning for everyone that might read this

Add in topical ru58841, and dutasteride (stronger than finasteride)

Also you could try applying esteogen cream on ur scalp esteogen is hair protectivw

Yeah I haven’t really tried any of the oils and what not since my doctor said not to bother. With the shampoo and conditioner I use a biotin one, but I typically use them 6 times a week cause any time I don’t my hair becomes ridiculously greasy, which has only been a problem during the last few months. I used to only use shampoo and stuff 3-4 times a week. Right now I’m on the pill minoxidil, but a year ago I used topical minoxidil for over a year and all it did was a few baby hairs so I stopped applying that. The pill minoxidil has worked to some extent cause the middle/bottom back of my hair went from being flat and thin to being more thick and slightly curly/wavy, but the top of my hair hasn’t changed really.

i can see why your doctor says not to bother with anything else, he does have a point i think since finasteride is supposed to do most of the work. well its still up to you to decide ig, regardless since you've come so far i would advise to continue and see if you are one of those people who see actual improvements after the first year. stick to what your doctor says and maybe try getting a different opionion from another doctor if you can.

personally im going to get a full blood test asap cause people keep telling me its impossible, but im 100% sure my hair thin A LOT after just 20 minutes of eating a small amount of sugar. i also get bloated in the lower abdomen and have a heavier hearbeat. might be something correlated to other health problems
