Minoxidil or no?

I allready take finnastride pills every day since like a week. Bcs my hairline is receiding a little bit. Its not that bad but i want to prevent it. But do i have to usbtopical minoxidil also to regrow the hairline or will it come back with the fin? And how do is use de minoxi the best way. Bcs i use another oil i bought and is leaks al over somtimes. Pisses me of to use it
