yeah my face just looks like complete shit in the mirror. my jawline looks much much sharper in pics. there was an older pic where my jawline was literally 4x as long as the person next to me.

Now look at the difference between closeup mirror and mirror from 7 feet away... I look much worse from a far, while closeup my chin looks okay and the fat on the bottom of my neck isn't visible.

I look so subhuman in photos but acceptable in the mirror, like another person actually.
I have a narrow HorseFace in photos but a normal midface and broad jaw in the mirror

neither, you need to erase any memory you have of how you look, then look at yourself with a new perspective. Your mind has already altered how you perceive yourself. There is no way of seeing your true self from a non-biased perspective.

• Always use the back camera, the front-facing camera has much worse focal length
