Basically im missing the last molar on the right side of my upper jaw. Number 1 here.
Im 17 and as a kid i never got braces because i had perfectly straith teeth (still do) but i can see my upper teeth shifting toward the side where my molar is missing and my smile is uneven.
And its causing asymmetry on my face i can see clearly, my nose is drifting to the right, my masseter are getting stronger on that side to compensate a lack of bone structure.
Im going to the ortho in 2 days and im faking pain in my jaw to my parents since the first of the month even tho i have no pain at all in reality, i hope getting braces to replace the tooth and correct my structure but im not sure if they would cause of my wisdom tooth, at least getting the ones in the upperjaw removed isnt a really big deal but i would rather not.
btw im using a mouthguard to help my mandible grow forward, hop it could help too.
How could i improve or correct manually my jaw, if possible ? Thumpulling ? Active mewing ?
Thanks.
