The modeling industry is like if the music industry and private equity conceived a nefarious Machiavellian child adept at detecting and identifying narcissists with Adonis complexes to exploit. Essentially, most “models” after hiring a photographer, producing a portfolio and applying to agencies, pay the agency, typically with irrevocable debt, for its services. Frequently, the agency will offer the model pro bono to fashion firms to “build their experience and portfolio” and eventually sell their contract to another firm for a profit. Most prospective models fail because they are delusional narcissists with Adonis complexes and ultimately become deeply indebted to these modeling agencies who are middle men that seek to commoditize human beings, surprisingly at their expense JFL!
A real model will be discovered on the streets of a city like Sean O’Pry. Other “models” are just rich kids or delusional deeply indebted retards who basically have fake careers their parents purchased or an agency lent to them.
Btw, the above describes genuine modeling agencies. There are many that are outright scams, which fleece fools by requiring lump sum payments, then cease contact.
