I also started lurking early, in 2020, and I noticed that the earlier users were more cold + likely to go down the wrong path.

It makes sense tbh. Newer users are normies who wouldn't have found it, had it not blown up on Tiktok.
Also the sheer influx of new users all at once, made it so quite a lot of other users would have a "normal" outlook on life = less likely for you to be affected by an environment where 99% think different to you (what it would've felt back in the day, joining as a bluepilled greycel)

I guess that's one of the only few benefits from tiktok spreading

Somebody above posted about only chasing virgins. I don't think that's the case for majority of guys.

In the past, slaying seemed like a semi realistic goal that could be achieved via looksmaxxing
Foids on tinder actually still used it to meet up with HTNs, now a HTN is nothing but a tool to extract validation from who she will never meet with.

Club slaying also wasn't the monumental task it is today
In the 2010s the entire culture was geared towards slaying, can't really hold that against young guys who grew up in that era

But in the 2020s foids are exposed to countless podcast bro clips and street interviews on tiktok where guys complain about foids with high bodycounts
My goals have also shifted to focusing on moneymaxxing and getting an ideal foid for LTR
Part of that is due to getting older but part of it is also due to knowing that the effort required to slay simply isn't worth the reward anymore.
If I gained giga status overnight and could slay attractive girls multiple times per week you best believe I'm going back into slayer mode although having one main foid would also be a benefit
Some guys give up on the idea of slaying due to the difficulty level which has ramped up so much in recent years that almost nobody is looksmaxxing their way into becoming a slayer

Youngcels going the hamza route of trying to online moneymax (while also looksmaxxing) is beneficial for them but also brutal that it's what's required in 2025 to feel like you can compete whereas 10-15 years ago just living a normie life without doing any of that shit was enough to get an LTR that the young L+M Maxxers are struggling to get today
