Mods, am I allowed to post a review of a gear source or would that be considered advertising?

I would say no, but maybe the other mods can give their opinion.

Are you being compensated for it in any form? Like using a referral link or something?

I'd say yes so long as he's not being paid or bullshitting, but that leads to a slippery slope. Maybe just this one time

In general, it's best to avoid naming sources whenever possible, especially if they're dedicated posts to the sources, as those have a tendency to be moderated. Obviously, being compensated in any way, even in small ways (such as a social media promotion or a referral link) would be an outright no, but it does not necessarily mean it becomes a yes if you don't have that, y'know?

However, it's also a good thing for users to be honest about their experiences with certain vendors so users know who is trusted and who to avoid. Gear/peptides are very popular in the looksmaxxing spaces so I understand why users would want to share their reviews with the site, as that'd be valuable information.

So I guess the answer, as it always tends to be, is "it depends".

In my opinion, maybe having a thread where you talk about your experiences with several vendors would be the best way to avoid problems, just because it'd be a thread that's solely dedicated to your thoughts and experiences and isn't coming off like an ad for one specific vendor.

If this is your first and only source and you still wanna talk about it, it's probably fine to do anyways, especially counting you're getting staff permission to do so.

Cool thanks. Upon further thought imma wait a bit longer until I have bloodwork and more different sources. I agree I don’t want to send a bunch of customers to one source without a more nuanced perspective.

Sick. Mention me in any future threads you make about that stuff, I'm curious.

It would be nice to see some bloodwork on the forums too, I feel like it's an important aspect to gear/peptides but it's not spoken about much. I guess it's kind of personal to some people or they don't get tested usually.

Yea unfortunately bloodwork is both more expensive and more difficult to get than the drugs themselves. Even though it is very important to maintain safety. I think it’s mainly unpopular because you can’t just buy it like you can gear/peps if you are under 18.
