It's just numbers on a screen.

Do man made symbols on a screen really make u happy? no.

Can it buy you somewhere nice to live? a nice car? food? Yes.

But does somewhere nice to live and a nice car really make you happy if you're alone? No.

Thats because it doesnt matter where the fuck you live, what you drive. all that matters is having good friends, family, gf

And even brokies earning $250 per month in third world countries have all of those things...

Brokies are mogging you...

Robin Dunbar, an evolutionary psychologist, suggests:

  • 5 close friends (your core support group)
  • 15 good friends (people you trust and hang out with regularly)
  • 50 casual friends (people you get along with but don’t see often)
  • 150 acquaintances (faces you recognize and could chat with)

how the fuck are u meant to get so many friends tho

How many dates to go on with different people until you settle?
  • 1–3 people: Some find the right match early, but this often leads to quick attachment without much comparison or clarity.
  • 4–8 people: This range tends to give a good sense of preferences, red flags, compatibility, and communication needs.
  • 10+ people: Some people date extensively to learn about themselves, but too much variety can lead to decision fatigue or fear of settling.

achievable

I probably earn 10x more than you and I have freedom to travel the world while working.

That's why I am allowed this opinion.

Having money means you don’t have to work.
The poorest NEET is still better off than the richest wagie.

I just wish I could afford to NEET already.

Nah bro, money makes me pretty damn happy, idk what you're talking about

in what way
My way of enjoying life is very hedonistic, I'll tell you that, I'm pretty self-aware, I'm happy when I eat good food, live nice experiences, and can flaunt my possessions and success onto others, I need money for all of that, don't really care for all that bs about "love and connection" or "meaningful experiences", look if that's your purpose in life that's cool and all, but those are not my drivers, most of my relationships are purely transactional, and I haven't spoken to most of my family in like 4-5 years at this point, I simply find no interest in that stuff. The only things that do get me excited, revolve around money.

You need money to live and provide, but yeah just aim to make enough to be comfy

Honestly, money enables you to live a stress-free and comfortable life, it gives you access to higher status circles and people (who're much more engaging and value connections, this is a looksmaxxing forum so good luck doing that without money :lul: I'm convinced people who say this kind of stuff are just trying to cope with the fact that they were born under very unfortunate situations so they don't have the possibility or realistically achieving super high amounts of wealth, or are just too lazy and unmotivated to go for it so they default to gaslighting themselves into believing it's not worth it so they don't feel bad about not having it.

Your point about money is right. Most people realize they’re behind financially when they’re young, but never take real action. Like you said, they gaslight themselves often using moral arguments like “tax the rich” or “the rich are evil” to justify their inaction. And it’s a never ending cycle of inaction and complaint.

Yeah, I can't even blame them. I'm not rich, but I'm financially better off than many adults in my family, specially after I moved to Europe, I'd like to believe I have a lot going for myself, but if I never achieve any substantial wealth, I refuse to fall in the mindset of trying to bring others down morally for having or seeking to have money, I see it as pathetic
