morals are cope
morality is literally just whatever society tells you is “acceptable” at the time.
you weren’t born thinking murder is wrong or lying is bad, someone TOLD you that, and you listened because if you didn’t, you’d get punished or excluded.
take the same action, change the country or time period, and suddenly it’s either heroic or evil.
example:
kill someone? murder.
kill someone in war? “honor.”
lie on your resume? crime.
lie in a job interview? “confidence.”
it’s all just made up.
people only follow morals when others are watching. when they’re alone, their real behavior shows, and 90% of people don’t follow the same “rules” they preach.
and deep down they all know it, which is why they get so mad when someone doesn’t play along.
because if one person stops pretending, the whole illusion falls apart.
most people don’t even have morals, they just have fear and habits.
what they call “being good” is actually just avoiding consequences
morals are a leash.
you were taught to feel bad about doing things that would make you harder to control.
it's not about right or wrong, it's about keeping people obedient and predictable.
wake up.
