Orange juice is high in fructose which needs to travel to the liver to be processed, and is significantly more capable of causing glycation than plain glucose. Plain glucose isn’t really so bad since it gets taken up pretty quickly in comparison but high amounts are still bad. Anecdotally I’ve noticed that a lot of people who adopt such diets tend to look younger than their age and have better skin quality. Whole fruits are significantly better than fruit juice. I just don’t eat them personally. the last time I allowed myself to eat carbs beyond those naturally occurring in glycogen or milk(a few years back) I was forcing myself to vomit in the backyard like a bulimic teen girl so it was not very anti-stress for meCarbs are anti stress and anti cortisol and help you sleep at night
