There was a study that vitamin D deficiency accelerates hair loss. So obviously if you are outside in the sun 24/7 you cannot be deficient in vitamin D. plus probably the fact that they hardly eat, so they fasting most of the time.

but mainly i think to the fact that most homeless people let their hair grow freely without a haircut, so as the hair is combover, you don't see norwood or diffuse thinning if you are not close to them.
