I'd be on it rn if I could get a hold of some

So far as I know accutane (oral version of retin) may cause hair loss cause of high vit a dosage . Retin shouldn't get absorbed alot. A quick google search sees that people claim they got hair loss. If it's TRUE some vit a got absorbed and causes some vitamin a overdose. However it should be rare. There are also people claiming hair loss for cod liver oil, a great health supplement for skin with high vitamin A content.

And retin A is legit for looksmax. Especially when you got good colouring.

this guy uses retin a and is crazy about keeping his hair, really doubt he would use it if it caused hair loss

Retin-a can be used to help with treating hair loss, not only it is boosting minoxidil effects but also working on its own to help with hair > look for study "Topical tretinoin for hair growth promotion "

Does retin-a (tretinoin) trigger that too? I thought it was just accutane (isotretinoin)

Actually some people on the FB group for LPP had it triggered by retin A :feelshaha: :feelshaha: :feelshaha: :feelskek: :feelskek: :feelskek:

But don't worry, I'm sure it's really rare

Ceramol 311 cream + Vaseline at nights is the best thing you can do abt dryness from retinoids

Ceramol mogs to oblivion, CeraVe make good moisturisers but Ceramol 311 cream contains the ideal 3:1:1 molar ratio of ceramides:cholesteral:fatty acids at a good concentration which is proven to repair your moisture barrier.

It’s a medical device prescribed by dermatologists for this exact scenario btw

first off make sure that you’re using the correct amount of tretinoin though, and blend with your moisturiser if needed

mh cerave is cheaper
do you think its worth it to invest in ceramol?

If your skin is actually having trouble adjusting to retinoid usage or your moisture barrier is compromised and you want to repair it then yes 100%

if you’re just looking for a good moisturiser then cerave will suffice, and use petroleum jelly as a night mask btw that is also very good for preventing TEWL and help to repair the moisture barrier

you could also try the ceramol 311 basecream which is much cheaper but doesn’t contain their patented barrier repair treatment.

alright
so if you have no big trouble with retina a its enough to just stay with a good moisturizer?
Right now I just use adapalene which gives me no problems at all

Yeah that’s absolutely fine, I had no issues with hydration until moving up to 0.1% tret

if you still want further hydration without the cost though you might as well use petroleum jelly as a night mask still as it’s so cheap.

This is the one I bought, from UK and free shipping btw

price isn’t great but the ingredients are expensive tbh, this is by far the cheapest product of its kind on the market.

Use only as much as you need and you should see long term skin hydration benefits. For optimal results still use a petroleum jelly night mask btw.

Thanks a lot. When it comes to looksmaxxkng I don't mind prices. Tried hundreds of WORTHLESS cheap products you end up sick JFL better try with better even if more/ more expensive and stick to it if it gives results.
