they only fw you if they’re getting something out of it

like if you got money, clout, status, or anything they see as valuable
they’ll stick around for that not for you

once you stop being useful, they’ll ghost you or switch up quick

and what’s crazy is even ppl you’ve known for YEARS will turn on you
they’ll snake you if it benefits them
loyalty don’t exist like it used to

time don’t mean shit
just bc y’all go way back doesn’t mean they won’t do you dirty

most “friendships” now are just transactional
based on what you can offer, not real love or loyalty

honestly the only ppl you can really trust is family
and even then not all of them…

but if you got solid family? hold onto them
they’re probably the only ones who got your back for real

just don’t call everyone your friend
most are just around for the ride
and they’ll hop off the second it stops benefitting them

Maybe at some point the friendship was pure.. but people change.
After 18, everybody switches up

I only have 2  pure friendships, and both have little to do with what we do together, bit more about the character of the person
